bookingkit generally distinguishes between the following types of bookings in the "orders" area of the program:

 a) Requests (non-binding requests for appointments that, upon confirmation, lead to a booking)

 b) Orders (binding bookings)

 c) Vouchers (Vouchers can be redeemed on tours and activities at a later point in time and are used as a payment method)

 d) Coupons (Coupons are valid within the period of a given sale or promotion, such as a newsletter promotion or a seasonal promotion (Christmas coupons), and can be created as often as you like during that period. Both fixed value and percentage discounts are available.)

Vouchers

Vouchers can be redeemed on tours and activities at a later point in time and can be used as a payment method. These coupons have fixed values and can be sold directly to customers. If the coupon's full value is not used when redeemed, the remaining value can be redeemed at a later point in time on other bookings. Coupons which are sold through your website as part of a tour or activity with the "Buy vouchers" feature are also listed here. Vouchers cannot be combined with Coupons. You may also filter the display of the vouchers, e.g. regarding active and inactive. Inactive vouchers. Inactive voucher are marked grey shaded.

Here's a sample vouchers being created:

After entering a title, code, description and value, the coupon will be
 active with "create".

Tip: bookingkit also lets you import existing coupon codes.

Canceling and deleting vouchers

bookingkit gives you the option of canceling existing vouchers. To do this, simply click the red "x" next to the coupon in the coupon overview. Now you simply need to decide if you want to issue a refund or not. After selecting the option of your choice, click "cancel voucher" to complete the action.
