In principle, the bookingkit calendar distinguishes between the month and day view.

We listened to your feedback and added many new features to the calendar view of your experiences - with the aim of making your daily operative business even easier. For one thing, we've changed the list view to a day view where you'll find much more information about your experiences. And the best thing is: From now on you can make changes to your bookings from the view.

  1. Your daily view

  2. Changes of bookings directly in the day view

  3. How to set up and effectively use labels

1. The new day view

Now you can take a closer look at all the experiences that are due on a particular day. You can easily change the date with the arrows at the top or on the right in the month view.

You see your experiences listed with name and time. If you only want to see certain experiences, you can select them from the drop-down menu on the right.

The other filter options are also located in the grey box on the right. So you can also filter by pre-created labels. How to use labels is explained in detail in Point 3.

By clicking on an experience in the day view, it will open and show more information. Previously, you could only see the number of participants, times and booking value in the list view. The new day view gives you a lot more information about your guests and bookings.

Now you can see if there are any comments (1) about your customers, such as "allergic to nuts" or similar. You do not have to go to the order page to find such information. This is also the case with additional sales. These are also displayed directly in this view (2). This way you can prepare yourself well and have everything ready for the day. You can also see immediately if there has already been a payment (3).

2. Changes of bookings directly in the view

After the improved filter functions and the wealth of information, you can make changes to your bookings directly from the view. This saves you a lot of time in your daily business.

Also add new participants directly here. To do so, click on "Add booking" in the detailed view of the respective experience and enter all information in the newly opened mask.

Another big plus is the fast settlement of payments. Simply click on "Add payment" and you are done. As the calendar is often used by staff at the entrance, the day view and the immediate ticking off of payments on site is a great relief.

You can also change bookings directly from the day view. Simply click on the drop-down menu at the top right of the experience. Now you can reschedule or cancel the appointment for the respective participant - and all this without leaving the day view of the calendar!

3. How to use labels effectively

We have already mentioned the labels. But we would like to have a look at them here again, as they can become a valuable tool for you if used correctly.

Labels are freely selectable and are created as follows:

Now you can add a label to each appointment. Good examples of labels are the names of your employees who are responsible for customer service on that day. This way you can easily and uncomplicatedly map your personnel planning. Labels also make it easier to manage different rooms. Since labels are text fields, you can choose the name freely and use it for your needs. And now have fun using the new day view!

  • Tip: Use the various filters and labels to set up your view in the way that makes the most sense for you, your tasks and your everyday work. This will save you valuable time every day. Each user can set up his or her own day view.

  • Tip for admin users: You as the administrator of the bookingkit account can assign different editing rights for the calendar view to all users, i.e. your employees. Therefore, you can decide which employee can edit the calendar and day view or who can only view it.
